Summary
Provide hands on corporate IT systems administration and desktop support for the New York corporate office and stores, supporting servers, networking, voice telecom, security, mobile device management, hardware and software maintenance, signage and A/V, documentation, and vendor coordination. Assist with IT projects, implementations, and department operations including asset management, onboarding, and training.
Responsibilities
- Support front and backend infrastructure including wired and wireless networking, VPN, and internet connectivity.
- Perform server operations and systems work for data storage, backups, OS, virtualization, O365, Exchange, databases and applications.
- Manage Active Directory accounts, groups and policies and provide desktop support for Windows environments.
- Maintain voice and telecom systems including VOIP and mobile voice and data.
- Implement and maintain IT security measures such as firewalls, end point protection and mail filters.
- Build, image, deploy and troubleshoot PC hardware, POS devices and printers and install and support business software.
- Manage mobile device inventory and MDM deployments and policies.
- Create and update documentation, knowledge base materials, and asset management records.
- Assist with IT projects, vendor management, equipment shipping and departmental maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of corporate IT experience.
- Extensive experience with Windows 10 and 11 and basic command line or PowerShell knowledge.
- Solid working knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals and ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
- Understanding of networking concepts and experience with Cisco Meraki preferred.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management and Apple Business Manager preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows Servers and Active Directory user and group maintenance.
- Experience with virus and spyware removal and preventative procedures.
- Customer service and training experience with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Some travel may be required.
