Junior Merchandiser

Summary

The Junior Merchandiser supports product allocations, replenishment, and in-season merchandising to ensure the right product is available in the right location at the right time. This role analyzes business performance, partners with logistics and retail leadership, and helps execute seasonal buying and allocation strategies. The position is office-based in New York with an expectation to work in the NYC office three to four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support stock allocation and weekly replenishment across stores by style and category
• Manage product flow from initial allocation through end-of-life, including transfers and consolidation
• Execute weekly allocations for new seasonal deliveries, carryover, and replenishment needs
• Partner with Logistics and Retail Leadership on shipment timing, capacity, and in-store delivery priorities
• Review and respond to store product requests and event-related merchandising needs
• Monitor in-season product performance and recommend actions to maximize revenue
• Prepare product training materials and communicate buying strategy to cross-functional teams
• Support allocation management for licensed categories such as fragrances, watches, and sunglasses

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or fashion merchandising preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in a fast paced, sales-driven environment
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel and computer proficiency
• Keen awareness of customer and brand profile and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in the NYC office three to four days per week
• Preferred experience in luxury retail, allocation systems, or inventory management tools
