Summary

The Planner - Denim is responsible for inventory planning and financial performance for the denim category, working closely with merchants and cross-functional partners to maximize sales and margin. This role analyzes sales trends, creates forecasts, and develops assortment and replenishment strategies to meet business goals. The Planner supports open-to-buy management and implements actions to optimize inventory flow.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, inventory, and trend data to develop demand forecasts and assortment plans for denim.
• Create and manage open-to-buy, inventory targets, and replenishment strategies to meet sales and margin objectives.
• Collaborate with merchants, allocation, and supply chain partners to execute seasonal plans and product flow.
• Monitor sell-through, identify opportunities for markdowns or promotions, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of planning, merchandising, or retail analytics experience, preferably in apparel or denim.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to translate sales and inventory data into actionable merchandising decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; attention to detail and problem-solving orientation.
