Summary
Key Holder responsible for achieving individual sales targets, developing clientele, maintaining boutique presentation, and supporting boutique operations including opening and closing in the absence of management. Role requires strong product knowledge of writing instruments, leather goods, watches, and accessories and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Achieve preset sales objectives and contribute to boutique targets
- Develop and maintain a network of clients and capture client information
- Provide outstanding customer service and build long-term customer relationships
- Maintain aesthetic quality and merchandising standards of the store
- Open and close the boutique as required and handle communications with corporate in absence of management
- Perform basic pen repair and after sales service techniques
- Ensure loss prevention procedures are followed according to protocol
- Handle transfers and operational tasks in absence of management
- Assist with receiving and unpacking product shipments
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience; luxury, jewelry, or high-end product experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills and ability to establish trust with customers
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Ability to work open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of standing on the sales floor for most of the workday
- Ability to reach, bend, and occasionally use a ladder to access product
- Ability to lift and unpack large boxes containing product
