Summary
Sales focused Brand Ambassador responsible for representing a specific fine and fashion jewelry vendor line, driving sales through product expertise, client development and in-store training. The role requires technical product knowledge, strong communication and relationship building to meet individual and brand sales goals. This position partners with leadership and vendor representatives to execute category strategies and support local business development.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales for the assigned jewelry brand and meet or exceed individual sales goals
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing client sales
- Coordinate special orders, reserves and product movement between stores to fulfill customer requests
- Execute category strategies provided by Brand Manager or management
- Educate and train store associates on technical product aspects and selling techniques
- Act as liaison with vendor representatives and provide product feedback to buying office
- Coordinate department efforts for special events trunk shows and promotional days
- Use recap forms to communicate customer needs opportunities sizing and requests to influence buying
- Serve as a role model for customer service standards and support ad hoc department needs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of selling experience in like product
- Strong selling and client building skills with proven relationship management
- Training skills and basic math ability to interpret sales reports and goals
- Technical knowledge of product construction fabrication and design
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust quickly
- Ability to develop and execute strategic selling plans in partnership with leadership
- Experience coordinating with vendors and managing special orders
- Demonstrated ability to meet measurable sales objectives and network effectively
