Summary
The Manager Financial Planning And Analysis leads financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support executive decision making and ensure compliance with accounting standards under CFO oversight. This role partners with finance teams and business units to monitor sales, margins, expenses, and financial performance for the U.S. operation and its European parent. The manager ensures internal controls, tax computations, and information flow are maintained and approved by the CFO.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage budgeting, reforecasting, strategic planning, and tax computations under CFO direction.
- Direct financial forecasting activities and deliver monthly quarterly and annual reports.
- Oversee sales margin expense tracking and cost allocation procedures.
- Design and monitor internal control procedures and ensure POS and store compliance.
- Monitor RTW damages and RTVs and manage shrink related issues with action plans.
- Conduct analysis across sales channels including exchange rate impacts returns and discounts.
- Support Diesel Finance team activities and coordinate with analysts and FP&A staff.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to track order shipment and sales performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics Accounting or a closely related field.
- At least 12 months of relevant retail accounting or finance experience.
- Experience with IFRS16 and IFRS9 assessments and impairment testing.
- Experience preparing financial statements under US GAAP and working with auditors.
- Experience in cash flow planning short term and long term working capital forecasting.
- Experience managing multi million dollar budgets and multi currency operations.
- Experience budgeting and forecasting for retail and wholesale channels with specified store counts.
- Ability to produce KPIs profitability analysis and perform ROI and NPV modeling.
