Responsibilities- Lead and execute North American marketing strategies for the makeup category.
- Plan and execute launch programs, including adapting launches for the North American market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on PR, education, events, media support, and co-op programming.
- Implement Sephora-specific strategies and manage the gondola update process.
- Develop seasonal marketing calendars and ensure ongoing updates and communication.
- Drive merchandising initiatives for all distribution channels, including Sephora and department store counters.
- Collaborate with e-retail and dior.com teams for product copy, assets, forecasting, and planning.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers to customize programming per retailer.
- Develop strong working relationships with Sales Administration and Supply Chain for accurate forecasts.
- Track retail sales and product performance to anticipate and react to changes.
- Ensure testers and merchandising units are forecasted according to usage and budget.
- Work with Education to evolve marketing strategy and implementation in seasonal seminars.
- Prepare and present marketing calendars and support programs at seasonal sales conferences.
- Spearhead procedures, forms, analyses, and reports critical to marketing plan execution.
- Propose retail-pricing recommendations for new products and price increases.
- Liaise with Operations to ensure timely program arrivals and highlight potential issues.
Requirements- 5+ years of marketing experience in the beauty industry, specifically in North America.
- Color experience required; prestige makeup experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and be highly organized.
- Strong forecasting and budget experience.
- Strategic thinker with excellent team player skills.
- Proven people-management track record.
- Ability to deal with confidential information using discretion and judgment.
