SummaryThe Manager for Onboarding and Engagement is responsible for managing the design and execution of onboarding initiatives that enhance the employee experience from pre-hire through the onboarding process and early tenure. Reporting to the Global Director of Learning and Development, the role is based out of the Global Headquarters in New York, NY.
Responsibilities- Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs that communicate culture, benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure new employees have necessary resources and support.
- Aid in the development of orientation sessions, tours, and training workshops for new hires.
- Curate onboarding materials, including handbooks, training guides, and welcome kits.
- Champion a globally consistent digital onboarding experience.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure effectiveness of onboarding and engagement programs.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders for successful implementation of programs.
- Develop and manage engagement strategies to enhance early-tenure employee satisfaction and retention.
- Lead coordination of cross-team building activities to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Provide strategic support for executive recruitment efforts as needed.
Requirements- 6+ years of experience within Human Resources or Marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, master’s degree is a plus.
- Prior experience in luxury goods, beauty, or retail is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Advanced presentation skills for live/virtual onboarding sessions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated track record in gathering and analyzing data and metrics.
- Exhibits cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- Self-motivated and confident in consulting, designing, and delivering programs.
