SummaryAs an Operations Manager at the 57th Street Flagship Boutique, you will oversee and direct the operations function within the boutique, ensuring the smooth running of operations to enable the ultimate client experience. You will work closely with Boutique Leaders by imparting critical business knowledge and acting as an expert on all Standard Operating Procedures, systems, and tools.
Responsibilities- Own all operational functions within the Boutique, including Inventory Control, Shipping and Receiving, Alterations, Facilities Management, Security, Resource Planning/Staffing, Compliance, and Expense Management.
- Collaborate with Home Office Retail Operations team to develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiency.
- Lead all operationally aligned staff, coaching, and inspiring the team to deliver flawlessly.
- Foster a positive working environment and create a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork.
- Be the ultimate expert on all Standard Operating Procedures, Systems and Tools to act as a resource for entire Boutique Team.
- Lead a team through various projects and take initiative.
- Manage a budget and forecast expenditures for a multi-faceted Boutique.
Requirements- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
- Requires in-store presence to develop and coach teams, ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld, and deliver elevated client service to drive business results.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively.
- Understanding of, and passion for client experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Foreign language skills are preferred but not required.
- Passion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives.
- Curiosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANEL.
