Summary

Sales Department Manager responsible for coaching, developing, and motivating the team to deliver outstanding customer service while driving department and store business results in a women's apparel department at Tacoma Mall.

Responsibilities

• Recruit hire and train team members for the department
• Develop motivate and lead the team to achieve goals
• Set and exceed personal and company sales goals
• Create and execute business plans to meet department and store objectives
• Actively sell on the floor to build customer relationships and loyalty
• Partner with merchant team to ensure appropriate merchandise selection
• Coach employees to improve performance and deliver exceptional service
• Manage department operations and execution on the sales floor

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of successful retail management experience
• Experience leading and motivating teams
• Competitive drive and ability to work in a commission based environment
• Passion for teaching and coaching employees
• Proven track record of developing planning and executing business strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in a Rack Store or Nordstrom Store preferred
