Summary
The PR Intern will support the Communications and Marketing department, assisting with press distribution, sample inventory, reporting, research, and administrative tasks while working closely with senior PR leadership and external agencies in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily internal press distribution and share key industry news
- Support Senior PR Director with agency press coverage reporting across print, digital, and social
- Maintain and track sample inventory including arrivals and end of season closeouts
- Coordinate sample movement, consignment pulls, and editor appointments with agency and stores
- Organize and maintain PR and Marketing sample closets
- Maintain press, influencer, and VIP databases
- Assist with departmental reports, special events, and administrative tasks
- Conduct research, list building, and data analysis to support strategy
- Provide credit details to publications and agencies as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years of relevant agency or in house Fashion PR Marketing or Events experience
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Ability to multi task and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Comfort managing interdepartmental systems and processes
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Familiarity with DMR and FashionGPS programs
- Curiosity and passion for the industry
