Public Relations Intern

Summary

Support the Public Relations team including PR, VIP and Media managers with daily communications tasks, sample closet and showroom organization, and media monitoring. The role involves coordinating sample trafficking, assisting with VIP fittings and gifting, and compiling media reports. This internship reports to the Senior Director of Public Relations and Media and requires on-site presence in New York.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sample trafficking for editorial shoots and VIP initiatives
• Coordinate local messenger services for samples
• Maintain organization of the sample closet, showroom and print media archive
• Review national and local publications and websites for editorial credits
• Compile screenshot reports for paid social media campaigns
• Monitor and track print positioning for the brand and competitors
• Assist with preparations for VIP fittings and gifting initiatives
• Create VIP decks and scan social media for celebrity coverage

Requirements

• Current student with interest in luxury fashion and communications
• Background in marketing advertising or corporate office experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Ability to commit to at least 3 full days per week
• Comfort working in an office environment in New York
