Merchandise Operations Associate

Summary

Support daily merchandise operations including processing, placement, maintenance and fulfillment under the direction of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor or Manager. Perform physical tasks such as lifting and using equipment while maintaining visual and merchandising standards on the selling floor. Provide customer service and assist with store initiatives and ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and prepare items for the selling floor
• Place and present merchandise following visual standards
• Participate in floor recovery and supply replenishment during peak periods
• Locate merchandise and complete customer orders placed in store
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly
• Use RF devices, PC, iOS devices and proprietary platforms to support operations
• Assist with other store initiatives and ad hoc tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Strong computer skills and comfort with technology including RF guns and Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn and retain merchandising and visual standards
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced, team oriented environment
• Dependable with a flexible schedule to meet business needs
• Ability to drive company vehicle as needed meeting state licensing standards
