Merchandise Operations Associate - Wm. Shoes

Summary

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations including processing inbound product, placement and presentation on the selling floor, and order fulfillment under the supervision of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor or Manager. This role requires physical handling of merchandise, use of technology such as RF guns and POS systems, and flexibility to support various store initiatives and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and prepare items for the selling floor
• Place and present merchandise to meet Visual standards
• Perform floor recovery and supply replenishment during peak periods
• Locate requested merchandise and complete customer orders
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly
• Operate company vehicle when required and authorized
• Participate in other store initiatives and ad hoc responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Ability to learn and maintain merchandising and Visual standards
• Strong computer skills and ability to use RF guns, PC, iOS devices, and productivity software
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment with minimal supervision
• Dependable with ability to meet deadlines and follow through on tasks
• Flexible availability to work schedules based on business needs
• Valid driver license and ability to drive company vehicle if needed
