Merchandising Manager, Womenswear & Licensed Goods

Summary

The Merchandising Manager, Womenswear & Licensed Goods leads Diesel's North American product strategy and buying across full-price retail and e-commerce. This role localizes the global brand vision into commercially effective assortments and drives sales, sell-through, and inventory productivity.

Responsibilities

• Own seasonal assortment strategy, buying, SKU productivity, pricing, and inventory plans for Womenswear and Licensed Goods.
• Partner with global and local teams to align product development and brand initiatives with North American customer needs.
• Analyze sales, sell-through, markdowns, competition, and market trends to inform forecasts and seasonal decisions.
• Collaborate with Retail, Visual, E-commerce, Wholesale, and Finance teams to improve commercial performance.
• Report business risks and opportunities to leadership and recommend actions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of progressive merchandising experience in luxury or premium retail.
• Experience building assortments that drive sales and attract new clients.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, open-to-buy, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong project management skills and willingness to travel up to 35%, including overnight and weekend travel.
