Operations Associate - Ala Moana

Summary

The Operations Associate is a part-time store role responsible for managing incoming and outgoing merchandise and maintaining an efficient, organized, and secure stockroom at the Ala Moana store. This role supports sales and visual teams by ensuring merchandise is ticketed, stored correctly, and available when needed, and oversees shipment, transfer, and delivery processes. The Operations Associate also assists with fixture movement, facility maintenance coordination, and inventory reconciliation to uphold store standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized fashion
• Retrieve and prepare merchandise for sales staff when items are not on the sales floor
• Anticipate and resolve storage and space issues for merchandise and fixtures
• Ensure all merchandise is ticketed and packaged to company standards
• Support visual merchandising and operations with moving and storing fixtures, furniture, props, and merchandise
• Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance, cleaning, and repairs as needed
• Prepare and complete inventories and cycle counts; participate in inventory reconciliation
• Manage inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and incoming/outgoing shipments per policy
• Process paperwork related to inventory maintenance (damages, RTVs) and document client deliveries
• Assist on the selling floor or other departments as requested by store management

Requirements

• Business school, university degree, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years retail experience focused on stock or inventory, preferably in a luxury setting
• Computer literate with ability to learn and use various software packages
• Strong customer service orientation, communication, problem-solving, and social perceptiveness
• Ability to manage deliveries and track merchandise; attention to detail
• Foreign language skills are a plus
