Summary
Responsible for preparing, processing and moving merchandise accurately and productively according to established guidelines in a logistics location. Performs duties across functions such as picking, packing, replenishment, shipping, receiving and inventory while following safety and operational procedures. Works on a day shift schedule and operates independently and as part of a team to meet departmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and merge orders to meet production targets.
- Rebag, reticket, replenish and stock merchandise as needed.
- Load and unload trailers, scan merchandise, build pallets and label items.
- Verify accuracy of production and set or assign product locations.
- Maintain designated work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow department training guidelines, best practices and operating procedures.
- Adhere to RNA safety guidelines and ensure equipment is maintained safely.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting and moving merchandise.
- Be flexible to perform multiple job functions and adapt to changing business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Fluent in English for reading, speaking and writing.
- Entry level experience in warehouse or production environments preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with handheld RF devices.
- Able to perform basic math computations.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 30 pounds and occasionally heavier with assistance.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility in work schedule.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate attention to detail.
