Summary
The Product and Trade Compliance Specialist ensures regulatory adherence to safeguard market access for maisons by managing registrations, reporting, certifications and providing compliance training across jurisdictions. This role supports regulatory monitoring and stakeholder communication within a global matrix organization focused on U S LATAM and Caribbean environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage mandatory product registrations reporting and certification processes
- Monitor regulatory developments and maintain regulatory expertise
- Develop and deliver training programs on product and trade compliance
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across a matrix organization
- Prepare compliance communications newsletters and updates
- Support non conformity investigations and implement control plans
- Maintain documentation and ensure customs and trade paperwork accuracy
- Deliver engaging presentations and reporting to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in business international business supply chain logistics law or related field
- Or 3+ years experience in legal offices customs agencies product regulatory affairs trade compliance or logistics
- Strong organizational analytical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with customs and trade documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel Word PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
- Interest in U S LATAM and Caribbean regulatory environments
