Summary
The Operations Associate supports store operations by maintaining inventory levels, organizing the stockroom, receiving shipments, and replenishing the sales floor to ensure efficient daily functioning of the store.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload shipments and verify accuracy against invoices
- Organize and store inventory in stockrooms with proper labeling and placement
- Replenish merchandise on the sales floor to maintain stock levels
- Assist in executing inventory counts and loss prevention measures
- Maintain a clean and safe stockroom and follow safety regulations
- Handle damaged or defective merchandise following company procedures
- Work with sales associates and managers to fulfill stock requests
- Monitor product availability and restock needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail operations or a related role
- Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills
- Team player with good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
