Summary
The Operations Controller is responsible for operational support of the boutique including managing an efficient stockroom, maintaining accurate inventory, and troubleshooting operational, service, facilities, and compliance issues. This fixed term role supports Store leadership and promotes a branded luxury client experience while performing physical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes and report issues to management
- Manage movement of merchandise including transfers, RTVs, and damages
- Assist management in identifying and resolving operational process problems
- Maintain clear and accurate operations documentation and procedures
- Submit 8300 and tax exempt forms as received
- Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines
- Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique and order supplies
- Oversee store cycle counts and scheduled inventories and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with company standards procedures and security guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of administrative or stock experience preferably in a luxury environment
- Familiarity with internal retail systems shipping software and Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to meet physical requirements including climbing bending and lifting boxes
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Authorized to work in the United States
