Summary

Early start retail stock role responsible for receiving, unpacking and processing merchandise, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting store operations. Requires open availability from 5AM to midnight and frequent physical activity including lifting and moving merchandise. Uses inventory management systems to scan and research shipments and helps maintain organized selling floors and stockrooms.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
• Assist with setting up special events and relocating store fixtures
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Perform markdowns and general backroom organization

Requirements

• Open availability from 5AM to midnight seven days per week
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Comfort using a variety of technology and computer applications
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
