Summary
Lead and oversee boutique operations across three divisions to ensure smooth workflow, inventory integrity, client experience, and adherence to standard operating procedures. Manage budgets, forecasting, and serve as the subject matter expert on systems, tools and after-sales processes while supporting and developing the in-store team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily heart of house operations including cash procedures, shipping and receiving, and invoice management
- Maintain and improve inventory integrity through cycle counts, RFID processes and year end inventory
- Manage stock organization and allocation to drive sell through and operational efficiency
- Lead Chanel et Moi after sales including repair intake, lead times and minor in store repairs
- Manage boutique maintenance and coordinate with vendors, contractors and IT
- Support merchandising standards by checking quality and presentation of incoming and outgoing merchandise
- Lead change management projects and act as SOPs and systems trainer for the boutique team
- Manage budget, forecasting and control expenditures for the boutique
- Coach, inspire and develop the heart of house team and assist on the sales floor as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of leadership retail operations or stock experience
- Strong organizational, communication and team management skills
- Proven ability to coach and develop in store teams and lead change initiatives
- Working knowledge of merchandising guidelines and product handling standards
- Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs and maintain boutique presentation standards
- Fluent English; French is a plus
- Experience with inventory systems, cycle counts and after sales processes
- Comfortable working across departments and liaising with head office
