Summary
The Operations Manager oversees the boutique's operational functions, supporting efficient performance, profitability, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The role partners with boutique leadership and corporate teams to maintain strong inventory controls, exceptional client service, and a productive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead boutique operations, delegate work, provide feedback, and support team training and development.
- Manage merchandise receiving, transfers, storage, cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory accuracy.
- Develop efficient procedures, ensure compliance with security and safety standards, monitor performance indicators, and manage expenses.
- Coordinate with boutique and corporate teams, communicate operational updates, and share best practices with other boutiques.
- Support exceptional customer service, resolve complaints, monitor feedback, and oversee repair and pickup processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of retail operations experience, including 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management software; basic SAP knowledge.
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, lift boxes up to 20 pounds, and access merchandise on shelves or in cabinets.
