Operations Manager - Southern Cal Distribution Center

Summary

The Operations Manager leads and develops a warehouse team to deliver on safety, quality, and performance objectives while meeting financial standards. This role oversees staffing, training, continuous improvement, and drives KPI metrics and facility scorecards for a distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of about 20 employees
• Recruit, select, onboard, and train warehouse staff
• Drive associate performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions
• Own process improvement efforts using problem solving and project management
• Monitor and drive warehouse KPIs and 4DX performance scorecards
• Provide annual budget information and monitor expenditures
• Identify financial variances and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• 5+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role
• Proven ability to implement continuous improvement actions that improve cost service and quality
• Experience developing others and growing leadership competencies
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Ability to analyze data and determine improvement actions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
