Operations Specialist

Summary

The Operations Specialist supports day-to-day store operations by managing inventory flow, shipments, and stockroom organization. The role is responsible for accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments and replenishing product on the sales floor to align with sales potential. This position works closely with the sales and operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy and store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory flow and streamline operational processes, including processing shipments and transfers.
• Move merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to verify quantities and product condition; report discrepancies promptly.
• Implement security measures through inspections and prepare products for display.
• Maintain organized, labeled stockrooms and an optimized warehouse layout for accessibility.
• Coordinate with external couriers and the operations team to ensure accurate shipping and timely delivery.
• Provide the sales team with detailed updates on inventory availability to support sales.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of operations and inventory control; attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
• 3+ years of operational and inventory experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
