Summary
The Operations Supervisor supports the Boutique Management by overseeing non-selling store functions including shipping and receiving, inventory control, loss prevention, POS operations, facilities maintenance, and after sales to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes and verify purchase orders and ticketing
- Maintain orderly stock and receiving areas and general store maintenance
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts and monitor transfers and returns
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and standards for security and inventory management
- Train coach and manage associates on operations tasks such as POS and return procedures
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records
- Set up and organize back of house operations and oversee opening closing procedures
- Assist with payroll management scheduling and adherence to payroll budgets
- Support problem solving to improve store service efficiency and productivity
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of retail stock associate or operations experience
- Ability to work a full time schedule including varied hours nights weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal communication organization and follow through skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift move and handle boxes and fixtures
- Familiarity with shipping receiving inventory control and POS procedures
- Ability to train and coach store associates
- Willingness to adhere to company policies procedures regulations and standards
- Availability to travel as needed
