Job Description

Summary

Operations Supervisor responsible for overseeing back of house operations to ensure inventory accuracy, efficient shipping and receiving, and high standards of stock presentation and store organization. Reports to the General Manager and supports store opening and closing duties, inventory preparation, and communication with corporate partners.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor sales floor stock to ensure pieces match current visual merchandising setups.
  • Communicate product stock level and quality issues to management to avoid shrink.
  • Maintain a clean and organized stock room and reorganize BOH to maximize efficiency.
  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks efficiently and process customer shipments per company standards.
  • Assist with physical inventory, cycle counts, discrepancy resolution and adjustments.
  • Support key holder duties including opening closing the store and POS closeouts.
  • Process damages monthly and track repairs for COG and stock while interacting with customers as needed.
  • Prepare corporate finance packs bi monthly and keep accurate records of stock movement.
  • Monitor store supply levels and communicate ordering needs to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience in retail back of house operations; luxury experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships with associates and corporate partners.
  • Proficiency with retail POS systems, Word, Excel and email.
  • Self motivated with a proactive positive can do attitude and ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures and use proper tools and equipment to maintain operational standards.
