Summary
Lead and coordinate back-of-house operations to ensure stockroom efficiency, compliance with company procedures, and excellent product care. Act as the link between sales and stock teams to support merchandise replenishment, omnichannel fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.
Responsibilities
- Support Store Manager in implementing back-of-house retail operation policies and procedures.
- Organize sellable and non-sellable products to optimize stock flow and support the sales floor.
- Manage merchandise replenishment and execute ship-from-store orders to minimize cancellations.
- Use company systems for product intake and stock management including SAP and other store tools.
- Execute regular cycle counts and participate in annual stock-takes with the store team.
- Track and report stock discrepancies, losses, thefts, and unusual stock adjustments.
- Partner on loss prevention action plans and perform audits of stock movements.
- Identify and control defective or damaged items and support after-sales processes like returns and repairs.
- Coach colleagues on proper product handling to prevent damage and missed sales.
Requirements
- Experience in retail stockroom or inventory roles with responsibility for stock control.
- Knowledge of inventory systems and retail tools such as SAP and related apps.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for stock reconciliation and rotation.
- Ability to lead and coordinate store teams and collaborate with sales staff.
- Understanding of loss prevention practices and ability to conduct audits.
- Customer service orientation for supporting before and after-sales processes.
- Problem solving skills to manage stock discrepancies and operational challenges.
