Summary
The Operations Supervisor oversees back of house operations to ensure efficient stock management, shipping and receiving, inventory accuracy and store readiness while supporting the sales team and reporting to the General Manager. This role maintains organization, monitors stock quality and levels, and assists with key holder duties and corporate reporting to uphold operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor sales floor stock to ensure pieces match current visual merchandising.
- Communicate product stock level and quality issues to management to avoid shrink.
- Maintain a clean and organized stock room and reorganize BOH to maximize efficiency.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks efficiently and process customer shipments to company standards.
- Assist with physical inventory, cycle counts and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Support sales team with running sizes, assisting at cash wrap and advising on stock availability.
- Process damages monthly and manage repairs tracking for COG and stock.
- Prepare corporate finance packs bi monthly and monitor store supply levels and ordering needs.
- Keep accurate records documenting all stock movement and process consolidations and transfers within deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in a retail back of house environment; luxury experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships with associates and corporate partners.
- Proficiency with retail POS systems and Microsoft Word Excel and email.
- Self motivated proactive approach with a positive can do attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a high paced environment and multi task while balancing daily responsibilities.
