Operations Supervisor - Toronto Premium Outlet

Summary

The Operations Supervisor reports to the General Manager at the Toronto Premium Outlet and oversees back-of-house store operations. Responsibilities include maintaining stockroom organization, managing shipping and receiving, supporting inventory processes and assisting the sales team as needed. The role sets operational standards and ensures accurate stock movement and customer shipments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales floor stock and ensure merchandise reflects current visual merchandising sets.
• Communicate stock level and product quality issues to management to prevent shrink.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and reorganize BOH to maximize efficiency.
• Perform shipping, receiving, consolidations, transfers and customer shipments to company standards.
• Assist with physical inventory, resolve discrepancies and process cycle count adjustments.
• Process damages and manage repairs for stock and COG items.
• Support key holder duties including open/close, POS closeout and EOD reporting.
• Prepare corporate finance packs and monitor store supply levels, communicating ordering needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail back-of-house environment; luxury experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships with associates and corporate partners.
• Proficiency with retail POS systems and Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable with email communication.
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to multi-task and work effectively in a high-paced environment.
