Summary
Lead and develop a high-energy stock team to ensure seamless outlet operations, inventory integrity, and safety standards. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer and delivery partner experiences. Oversee merchandise flow from receipt to sales floor and manage product disposition processes.
Responsibilities
- Train and lead stock team on safety protocols and inventory policies.
- Oversee receipt, processing, and transition of merchandise from truck to storage to sales floor.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and key operational metrics to drive improvements.
- Ensure merchandise is properly tagged and ready for sale.
- Authorize and manage destruction of products marked out of stock per policy.
- Coordinate release of product to third-party delivery partners and customers.
- Ensure operational interactions meet company service standards.
- Maintain readiness for dynamic operational hours and schedules.
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, preferably in home furnishings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with inventory management systems and processes.
- Proficiency with Mac operating systems, iOS, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- Adaptable and solutions-focused with resilience to change.
- Ability to lift and move items in excess of 100 lbs using proper equipment.
- Capacity for prolonged standing and physical activity in stockroom and sales floor.
