Pt Cashier

Summary

As a Cashier you will provide a welcoming, customer-first checkout experience while accurately processing sales transactions and maintaining the cash wrap. You will support store operations by handling returns, managing promotional offers, and keeping the checkout area organized. This role is an entry point to other in-store opportunities and requires strong communication and service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create exceptional customer experiences at the point of sale
• Process sales transactions including cash, credit, debit and checks and manage Ship to Home orders
• Validate and inspect returned merchandise and handle coupon redemption and promotions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cash wrap, queue line and surrounding areas
• Capture customer profiles in the POS, support visual merchandising standards and provide feedback to management

Requirements

• Retail experience preferred; strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to operate a register, stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Comfort working a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume specialty retail environment
• Willingness to complete required company trainings and support hiring efforts
