Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst evaluates initial production, product development samples, and current production for David Yurman products. This role supports product quality through inspections, testing, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial production approvals, including merchandise evaluation, documentation, analysis, and communication of results.
• Develop standard operating procedures and jewelry inspection guidelines.
• Perform XRF analysis on incoming components and finished goods, and scan diamonds in first production goods.
• Research product and process defects with Repairs, Returns, Product Engineering, Product Development, Design, Manufacturing, and Inventory teams.
• Audit products at contractors and suppliers; support sample selection, sample library transitions, product reviews, approvals, and defect documentation.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of jewelry experience.
• Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and inspection processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple short- and long-term projects.
• GIA or similar gemology certification preferred; a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
