Technical Designer, Polo Men's Roughwear

Summary

The Technical Designer creates and maintains PLM tech packs that communicate garment measurements, fit, construction, and design intent to suppliers and factories. The role partners with cross-functional and global teams to support seasonal product execution, quality, and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and review accurate tech packs in PLM through production approval.
• Document measurements, construction details, fit requirements, sketches, imagery, and product data.
• Partner with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, global technical design teams, and suppliers.
• Support fit sessions, sample reviews, milestone meetings, and calendar deliverables.
• Manage workload and contribute to departmental tools, processes, and special projects.

Requirements

• Degree or certification in apparel manufacturing, design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and apparel manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of Gerber, PLM, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Knowledge of Browzwear or other 3D applications is preferred.
