Summary
The Retail Applications Analyst will support and enhance retail technology and omnichannel systems to strengthen the in-store customer experience. This hybrid role combines hands-on application support, light configuration and development, and project delivery across POS, clienteling, payments, order management, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day support for POS clienteling and payment workflows and meet SLAs and OLAs
- Triage incidents and drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes with vendors and internal teams
- Execute release and upgrade cycles including sandboxes UAT test scripts and cutover plans
- Maintain application configuration environments and user access with SOX-compliant controls
- Monitor integrations and jobs review logs and resolve failures such as API and message queues
- Deliver enhancements from discovery through deployment including requirements and test plans
- Support new store openings and relocations including device provisioning and payments certification
- Coordinate vendor work and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
- Contribute to playbooks runbooks test scripts and knowledge base articles and track work in Jira
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in retail systems with hands-on POS clienteling and omnichannel exposure
- Experience supporting production applications and leading small to medium projects
- Working knowledge of SQL with ability to read and write basic to intermediate queries
- Familiarity with iOS device management SSO and web services concepts
- Strong documentation communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage incidents enhancements and project tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Nice-to-have experience with Teamwork Commerce Tulip Adyen Salesforce and Oracle EBS
- Understanding of ITIL practices change incident and problem management
