Retail Cashier - Fashion Valley

Summary

Seasonal and regular retail cashier and sales floor support role providing friendly, efficient customer service at the point of sale and assisting across the sales floor. The role requires flexibility to support order fulfillment and pickup and a focus on maintaining a tidy, customer-ready department.

Responsibilities

• Process sales, returns and other transactions at checkout and assist customers by phone
• Deliver high quality customer service and listen to customer needs
• Maintain the cash wrap and sales floor by straightening, light cleaning and restocking
• Support order fulfillment and order pick-up as needed
• Share product knowledge and fashion trends to aid customer purchase decisions
• Promote store programs such as gift cards and rewards
• Work as a team member to keep the department runway ready

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong organization skills and follow through
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours with frequent bending reaching and lifting
• Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
