Summary

Provide warm, personalized sales and styling to customers at the Ala Moana store, driving sales and creating memorable experiences. Use digital platforms and networking to curate content and achieve sales goals while supporting department tasks such as stocking, re-merchandising, and order fulfillment. Flexible scheduling and teamwork are required to maintain a customer-ready floor and occasionally support other departments.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and build relationships through personalized styling and selling.
• Achieve sales goals by styling, curating content, and using digital channels including text and social media.
• Open and promote Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow customer base.
• Fill customer orders, stock merchandise, perform re-merchandising and price markdowns.
• Maintain department presentation and perform light cleaning to keep the floor customer ready.
• Work flexible schedules and occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable using technology and social media for sales.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Physical ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours, perform bending, reaching, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Organization and strong follow-through on tasks.
