Retail Sales - Kids' Apparel & Shoes - Old Orchard Center

Summary

The Retail Salesperson specializes in kids' apparel and shoes, delivering excellent customer service both in-store and digitally. This role focuses on building lasting customer relationships, meeting sales goals through in-person and digital selling, and providing confident style and fit guidance. The position requires collaboration with the store team to maintain a customer-ready department and flexibility to support other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels, using selling tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and grow a customer following
• Provide honest, confident feedback about style and fit and deliver excellent customer service on customers' terms
• Assist with filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning to keep the department customer-ready
• Open Nordstrom Rewards accounts and support store initiatives; occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed
