Summary

Provide fashion-focused sales and styling for men's apparel at Old Orchard Center, cultivating and growing a customer following both in-store and digitally. Achieve individual and department sales goals using selling tools including text and social media while maintaining a well-presented, customer-ready department. Support merchandising tasks such as filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, and price markdowns.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using available tools and channels
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Deliver personalized service and provide honest, confident feedback on style and fit
• Maintain department presentation through stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Use networking and technology, including text and social media, to drive sales
• Cross-train and assist in other departments as business needs require

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively on a team
• Comfortable using digital tools and social networking to support sales goals
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule
• Physical ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours, handle merchandise, and lift up to 25 pounds
