Summary

The Retail Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and is responsible for driving sales both in-store and digitally while delivering personalized customer service. This role cultivates and grows customer relationships, provides honest style and fit guidance, and helps keep the department customer-ready.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide confident, honest styling and fit recommendations to customers
• Fill orders, restock merchandise, re-merchandise displays, perform price markdowns, and do light cleaning
• Support team members and occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed
• Work a flexible schedule based on business needs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to use networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to excel in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Organization, follow through, and flexibility to work varied schedules
• Ability to be continuously active for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
