Summary

Customer-focused sales role on the shoes floor at Perimeter Mall responsible for driving both in-store and digital sales. The salesperson builds lasting customer relationships, provides styling and fit guidance, and uses text and social media to engage clients. The position requires flexibility in schedule and occasional work in other departments to support store needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using selling tools including text and social media
• Cultivate and grow a customer following and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide excellent customer service and confident styling and fit advice
• Maintain department presentation by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, and pricing markdowns
• Collaborate with the team and perform duties in other departments as business needs require

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to use networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability to work variable schedules based on business needs
• Physical ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours, frequently bend, reach, and lift items up to 25 pounds
