Summary

The Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates lasting customer relationships both in-store and digitally. This role focuses on meeting sales goals through in-person and digital selling, leveraging tools such as text and social media. The Salesperson also supports department presentation and helps customers with style and fit.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools, including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow the customer following
• Provide exceptional, customer-first service and honest style and fit recommendations
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow customer engagement
• Support department operations: fill orders, stock, re-merchandise, execute price markdowns, and perform light cleaning
• Be flexible to assist in other departments as business needs require and work a variable schedule

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to use networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to work effectively in a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and follow through on responsibilities
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to be on your feet and move continuously for 6-8 hours, with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting (regularly up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 25 lbs)
