The Retail Sales - Shoes position supports customers through in-store and digital selling, focusing on building lasting relationships and meeting sales goals. Responsibilities

• Set and achieve individual sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow a personal client base
• Provide honest, confident feedback on style and fit to help customers make purchases
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts and grow customer engagement
• Support department operations: fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise, perform price markdowns, and light cleaning

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to use networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability to work varying schedules and occasionally in other departments as needed
• Physical ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours, perform frequent bending and reaching, and lift up to 25 pounds
