Retail Sales - West County

Summary

Provide excellent customer service and styling expertise while driving sales for the shoes department through in-store and digital selling. Cultivate and grow a customer following using selling tools including text and social media, and work closely with the team to maintain a customer-ready department. Achieve individual and department sales goals and support store operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using available selling tools
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow new Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide honest, confident advice on style and fit to customers
• Perform department tasks including filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Be flexible to perform duties in other departments as business needs require

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills and a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach
• Interest in using networking and technology to drive sales and the ability to excel in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, stay organized, and follow through in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to be in continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
