Job Description

Summary

Customer-focused retail salesperson responsible for driving sales both in-store and digitally while providing styling advice and exceptional service. The role involves growing customer relationships, using selling tools including text and social media, and contributing to department merchandising and stocking. Schedule varies by week and flexibility to work in other departments may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Provide styling guidance and honest feedback on fit
  • Use text and social media to cultivate a customer following
  • Fill orders, stock merchandise, and re-merchandise displays
  • Perform price markdowns and light cleaning to keep department customer ready
  • Open new customer rewards program accounts
  • Be flexible to perform duties in other departments as needed

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Interest in using networking and technology to meet sales goals
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Organizational skills and strong follow through
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules based on business needs
  • Physical ability for continuous movement and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
