Summary

Customer-facing sales role focused on building relationships and driving both in-store and digital sales through excellent service and styling. The role requires use of selling tools including text and social media to cultivate and grow a customer following. Schedule is flexible and may vary based on business needs, with occasional work in other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools such as text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide styling advice and honest feedback on fit and product to customers
• Keep the department customer-ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, applying price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Work collaboratively with the team and be flexible to perform duties in other departments when required

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills with a self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset
• Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals and engage customers
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment and demonstrate organization and follow-through
• Flexible availability to work varied schedules based on business needs
• Physical ability to be moving for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
