Summary

The Retail Sales associate is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates a customer following both digitally and in-store. This role sets and achieves sales goals using selling tools such as text and social media, provides personalized styling and fit guidance, and helps keep the department customer-ready through merchandising and order fulfillment. The associate delivers exceptional service and grows customer relationships, including enrolling customers in the Nordstrom Rewards program.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using available tools and platforms
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow a personal client base
• Provide honest, confident feedback on style and fit and deliver high-quality customer service
• Use text and social media to engage customers and support sales goals
• Support department readiness by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, and performing price markdowns
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts and assist with customer enrollment
• Work flexible schedules and occasionally assist in other departments as needed

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability to work varied schedules based on business needs
• Physical ability to continuously move 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
