Summary

The Salesperson sells women's apparel both in-store and digitally, using styling skills and social tools to build and grow customer relationships. They meet sales goals, provide styling and fit guidance, and help maintain a customer-ready department. The role requires flexibility to support other departments and varied weekly schedules.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, including text and social media.
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Provide honest styling and fit advice to customers.
• Fill orders, stock, re-merchandise, and perform price markdowns and light cleaning.
• Collaborate with the team and occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills with a self-motivated, goal-oriented focus.
• Interest and ability to use networking and technology to drive sales.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment and work a flexible schedule.
• Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift and to lift items occasionally up to 25 pounds.
