Summary

The Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and is responsible for cultivating and growing a customer following both digitally and in-store. They set and achieve sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, build lasting customer relationships, provide styling and fit guidance, and help maintain a customer-ready department. The role requires flexibility in schedule and occasional work in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools such as text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide honest, confident feedback on style and fit to customers
• Deliver excellent customer service tailored to customers' needs
• Keep the department customer-ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, and performing price markdowns and light cleaning
• Work collaboratively with the team and be flexible to perform duties in other departments as needed

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented attitude with strong interest in using technology and networking to drive sales
• Ability to excel in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Organization, follow-through, and the ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to be active for 6-8 hours per shift including bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands
• Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
