Job Description

Summary

Customer-focused retail salesperson specializing in men's shoes responsible for achieving sales goals through in-store and digital channels, building lasting customer relationships, and maintaining department readiness. The role requires flexibility in schedule and occasional work in other departments as business needs dictate. Strong communication, styling ability, and use of technology for networking and sales are emphasized.

Responsibilities

  • Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using texting and social media
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Provide styling advice and honest feedback on fit and product
  • Assist with filling orders, stocking, remerchandising, and price markdowns
  • Keep department customer ready through light cleaning and organization
  • Open new rewards program accounts to grow customer relationships
  • Work flexible hours and vary schedule based on business needs
  • Occasionally perform duties in other departments as required

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Interest and ability to use networking and technology to drive sales
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Organized with strong follow through
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
  • Capable of lifting regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
